Popular Outdoor Event Venue Adds Market Wednesdays and Giving Thursdays to Concert Weekend Schedule

WHITEFISH, Mont. – Tuesday, June 2, 2026 – Thirty Eight, one of Whitefish’s premier outdoor entertainment venues, announces an expanded 2026 season with a Wednesday through Sunday schedule and new weekly events supporting local artisans and nonprofits.

Located on Central Avenue in downtown Whitefish, Thirty Eight is an open-air gathering place to enjoy rotating food trucks, an outdoor bar, and lawn games while supporting local artisans at the community market, learning about area nonprofit organizations, or showing off your dance moves to live music in a vibrant outdoor venue designed for connection, great food, and mountain town energy.

Season Schedule & Programming

The 2026 season began May 15th with Concert Weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) running through June 14th, followed by an expanded five-day weekly schedule (Wednesdays through Sundays) from June 17th through late September.

New Programming Includes:

  • Market Wednesdays – Weekly markets featuring a variety of 6-8 rotating local artisan booths, giving Flathead Valley creators a new platform to showcase handmade goods and specialty items alongside the venue's food trucks and bar service.
  • Giving Thursdays – Fundraising events partnering with a different local nonprofit organization each week, with a portion of the venue’s proceeds donated to the featured charity.
  • Concert Weekends – Signature programming continues with two live performances daily featuring a variety of regional and touring artists, including Borderline Lucid, Winnie Brave, Brent Jameson, Todd Cowart, Tommy Edwards, and Rylee Mix, to name a few.

Signature Offerings

Thirty Eight features its famous signature cocktail, the ‘Irish Goodbye’ frozen Irish coffee, an expanded craft beverage menu, local Sweet Peaks Ice Cream, and rotating food trucks.

The venue's family-friendly atmosphere, with games and outdoor seating, makes it a destination for people of all ages to enjoy Whitefish's beautiful setting.

Community Impact

"We're excited to expand our role as a community gathering place," said Venue Manager Chad Mercer. "Market Wednesdays and Giving Thursdays allow us to directly support local artisans and nonprofit organizations while providing our guests with even more reasons to visit throughout the week."

The new programming will spotlight dozens of local vendors and support many Flathead Valley nonprofits throughout the season.
